This machine gun was used on some early war Germen and Austrian-Hungarian fighters, but was mostly used on bombers and as the rear seat armament.  The Parabellum MG14 was built by Deutsche Waffen und Munitionsfabriken and contained an enclosed drum belt-style ammunition feed.
